The Rolux TB-18 Tri-Blade Hybrid Rotary Mower and Dethatcher is an ultra-high quality rotary mower that is designed to go low! The TB-18 is manufactured from the highest quality materials available.
The exclusive Tri-Blade cutting system results in a superior cut whether you are maintaining your lawn or using it to reduce the height of your lawn dramatically if you have seasonal turf. The cutting edge on the hardened steel blades is the same length as a traditional rotary bar blade, but the unique design of the cutting plate allows 3 blades to be in operation resulting in a finer cut and more vacuum capture of clippings into the wide-mouth grass box.
The rear opening of the deck and mouth of the grass box are nearly 12" wide to capture the maximum amount of clippings without clogging the chute.
The swing blade system protects the engine and chassis from any sudden impacts if a blade hits a hard object or turf mound. It comes standard with high vanned cutting blades and a dethatching blade kit can be ordered to quickly and easily convert the TB-18 from cutting to dethatching.
The TB-18 is powered by the Briggs & Stratton 625ex 150cc engine for reliable performance season after season. The 625ex is made in the USA in Poplar Bluff, MO and features Ready-Start technology - no prime / no choke. It features their Super Lo-Tone™ Engine Muffler and 6.25 ft. lbs. of torque.
The wide-mouth grass box is molded of super-strong low-density polyethylene material that will support over 200 lbs. of weight on top. The handle on top makes it easy to install and remove and tilt for emptying.
When the dethatching blades are installed you can set the height down low enough to even slice the surface of the ground or set them high to lightly pull thatch from your turf.

Reel mowers provide a superior quality of cut to rotary mowers. Reel mowers give a scissor-like cut to the grass blade which is cleaner, softer and does not disturb the plants natural pattern of growth. A regular rotary mower slashes the grass which causes trauma to the grass blade as well as the roots of the plant. Lawns cut with a reel mower will have healthier, thicker and greener leaves.
The split blades are designed to throw cuttings into the middle of the grass catcher ensuring that it fills to its maximum capacity. The clippings are drawn towards the center of the reel and thrown into the middle of the catcher.
The Rolux X20 weighs 143 pounds of which only 8,8 ounces is made of plastic.
The rear roller is made from 0.12” steel tube with steel domes to reinforce the structure. The roller is then rubberized and vulcanized to provide additional strength and resilience. The rubberized rear roller provides grip when transporting the machine as well as when mowing on uneven or steeper lawns. The vulcanized rear roller is also very quiet when moving over concrete and other hard surfaces.

Changing the cutting height is as simple as turning a single height adjustment knob to increase or decrease the height of cut (HOC). To increase the HOC, turn the mechanism clockwise, to lower the HOC, turn it anticlockwise.
